The Rhetoric Project

Why is effective use of language important?

In life, everything we do with other human beings requires communication. Almost every thing that people do requires communication in some form or another. If you are able to say what you want to say in a way that other people understand you, you will have less frustration and more cooperation. You are less likely to offend people, and people will like you more. People being able to speak affects everyone everywhere, from international government decisions, to chatting with your neighbor.

The idea behind the Rhetoric Project . . .

Because speaking is so important, everyone should be able to do it. Therefore, the idea of this project is to provide an easy to use place for the sharing of ideas, tips and tricks, and just general help in improving speaking ability. Preparing for a competition?
