Service Projects
To truly have a good leadership education, service must be an integral part of that. Thus, if each family could plan a service project appropriate for the teens or the whole family we could enjoy organized service throughout the year. If a teens could plan the projects themselves, that would be wonderful, but we also understand mom and dad need to encourage to make it happen.
For family service projects, they could be scheduled on a Monday night. Extra money from tuition collected could go towards helping fund service projects, or we could ask families for donations. Familes or teens could also present a short leadership lesson as well, if desired.
The Presidential Service Award can also be earned if teens log their hours at the website. That award would look great in a high school portfolio. To track your hours, register here. Keystone Arts Academy is a "certifying organization" so enter the "record of service key" PXJ-39255 in your profile when you sign up.
